Terms of Service

Effective June 20, 2026

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MediU ("the app", "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use MediU.

Description of Service

MediU is an iOS medication logging app that helps users track when they take their medications. It supports 1:1 partner pairing, allowing one person (the observer) to receive notifications and send encouragement when the other person (the taker) logs or misses a dose. MediU is currently free to use.

Not a Medical Device

MediU is a personal reminder and accountability tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for guidance from a licensed healthcare provider. Do not rely on MediU as your sole method of managing critical medication schedules. Always follow the instructions of your doctor, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional.

No Account Required

MediU does not require a traditional account or sign-in. A random device identifier is generated on first launch. You must be 13 years of age or older to use MediU independently. Users under 13 may use MediU only with verifiable parental or guardian consent and supervision.

Because there is no sign-in, your data is tied to your device. If you uninstall the app without first deleting your account, your data may remain on our servers. Use Settings → Delete account to fully remove your data before uninstalling.

Partner Pairing

Voice Memos

Observers may optionally record a short voice reminder that plays on the taker's device when a dose is missed. By recording and saving a voice memo in MediU:

MediU is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that push notifications will be delivered on time or at all, and missed or delayed notifications should not be relied upon for critical medication management. We are not liable for data loss resulting from service disruptions.
